Welcome to Midsummer Magick

From the top of a cliff  in Dorset in the UK, I bring to you edible flower petals, whole flowers, flower powders, flower tea, flowers to float in your bath, flowers to float in you drinks and much more….

For me, flowers have awoken my inner witch, they feed my soul, the scents are so uplifting, the tastes are delicate and beautiful, they decorate my magickal baking transforming the mundane to ethereal.

I use them in everything from potions to perfumes and from curry to cakes.

All our products are gently mixed and packed by hand in our cliff top space in Dorset.

Meet the Team

Cara Polly Franses

Founder

Cara is the magick behind the business. With the desire to bring happiness via mother natures bounty to people who would like to sample and experiment with flowers in every shape and form.

Mark

With his calm logical brain, Mark is Cara’s supportive husband who manages the financial side to her business.

Clare

Clare is our Operations Manager.  Clare manages the day to day operation and along with Jenna does the marketing and social media.  Clare is also our resident expert in all things yoga and meditation.

Jenna

A jolly and gentle member of the team, Jenna has taken on responsibility for social media along with helping with packing lovely parcels. Jenna also has a busy home life as she and her husband have two small children one of which I am sure was a fairy in a past last life……

Val

Val is Cara’s Mum. This is the woman who showed Cara to follow her instincts no matter what anyone says and understanding the wonderful gift of following your hear. Val can often be found wielding a paintbrush in front of a canvas creating a colourful delight! She has been part of the Midsummer Magick from the beginning…

Amanda

Amanda is a gentle force of good and has a silent calming effect on the team. She helps ensure all the stock levels are correct and has a magickal eye for detail.

Rachel

Rachel will lift the spirits of anyone feeling a little down. I do wonder if she carries fairy dust in a little concealed bag…. Rachel looks after our edible petals making sure they are mixed correctly along with helping us all to pack parcels beautifully.

Lisa

Lisa is able to to magically make any of our electrical equipment work again if it’s misbehaving. I think she spreads her calm happy nature into the machines. She also mucks in with the rest of us packing happy parcels to go out in the post.

Eco Thinking

Mother nature is primary in everything we do… natural products are the very core of our business. How we use resources and what we put back into our surroundings is a question we must all ask ourselves. To be close to nature and  work in harmony with the world is a wondrous gift.

As individuals and as companies we can all influence these matters. For this reason, we have tried to give as much consideration to the environment as possible in production as well as our internal environment. We are a zero-landfill business. All our waste is either recycled or incinerated to generate energy. We use as little energy as possible using basic methods like turning off lights and reuse plastics  within the studio to store products.

Our culture nurtures talent at all levels of the business and the ability to turn ideas into life. We value individuality, creativity and personal development above all else.
We aim to create a supportive environment which allows our team to grow and develop. We share knowledge and combine natural products to finding out what makes us and our customers smile.
