Culinary Star Anise (P&P Included)
Star Anise has a lovely flavour, is sweet yet spicy and has hint of liquorice. It makes a great addition to cooking in both savoury and sweet dishes.
Cocktails – Try adding one to your gin and tonic with a couple of juniper berries and a slice of dried orange peel, it creates a lovely warm aromatic taste. We here at Polly’s petals have also soaked them in gin for a couple of months, this creates a wonderfully flavoured gin.
All our products are 100% natural and additive free. Please note we cannot guarantee that any of our products are free from allergens. We handle mustard seeds on our site and do our utmost to avoid cross-contamination, however we cannot 100% guarantee there are no traces in our products

Our natural products have no chemicals or preservatives added so they will need to be kept it in an air-tight container, somewhere cool and dark. A cupboard or draw will do nicely. This will help to maintain their colour and aroma.
Delivery (UK Addresses)
If you order a number of items for delivery to the same address, they may be despatched separately and we cannot guarantee delivery on the same day unless a specific day delivery is selected. We make every effort to despatch items on time. If the items are not delivered within the time period we specify in the Confirmation Email, please contact our Customer Services team quoting the order reference contained in your Order Confirmation Email.
